Thousands of displaced people and needy families in Bangladesh camps live in harsh humanitarian conditions, where they lack the most basic necessities of life, especially daily food. This suffering is exacerbated by overcrowding, poor capabilities, and the difficulty of obtaining healthy, cooked food that ensures proper nutrition for them and their children and protects them from diseases resulting from malnutrition. In light of these oppressive circumstances, families are unable to provide a single meal to satisfy their children’s hunger, which makes relief intervention to provide food security an urgent need to save lives and alleviate the burden of displacement.
In response to this ongoing humanitarian need, 4Relief is implementing its field project within the food security and urgent relief sector. We work through our charitable kitchens to cook and prepare hot meals and distribute them on a daily basis directly to the eligible people inside the camps.
