4Relief launched a project to transport and distribute clean drinking water via field tankers to respond to the severe water crisis facing displaced families in the camps, with the aim of preventing diseases and securing the main lifeline for families and children.
In light of the worsening crisis of potable water scarcity in displacement areas and crowded camps, 4Relief launched an urgent field response by running sterile and desalinated water tanks daily to reach the most critical points inside the camps, to ensure the protection of the basic right of families and children to access safe water.
Our field teams work in direct coordination with local partners to inventory field needs and identify the distribution points most in need. The project aims to directly reduce the spread of diseases and epidemics resulting from polluted water, especially among children and the elderly. We value the giving of our donors that made this response possible, and we continue to expand the scope of distribution to cover the largest possible number of camps.
